Exploring the World of Wine

Get ready to understand the ways a wine's origin affects the results in your glass.

Have you ever wondered if Pinot Noir made in France was all that different to Pinot Noir made in California?  Or how about Cabernet from Bordeaux versus Australian Cabernet?  Speaking of, what do you know about the Land Down Under?  Is it all critter wine?  And Bordeaux... is it a region or a wine?  Why is it so expensive?

You receive $300 worth of classes:

  • Old World vs. New World
  • Deep Dive into Australia

  • Deep Dive into Bordeaux
- In "Old World versus New World," you will unpack the key historic, geographic, and stylistic differences between the two regions, learn what to expect when you open a bottle from either place, and how to consistently buy for your palate.
- Next in "Deep Dive into Australia," you will discover the magic of Australia through your glass.  We will debunk wine stereotypes, discover the three pillars of Australian wine, learn about wine's history on this vast continent, explore the wide-ranging regions & wines to try from each, and enjoy classic food pairings.
- Finally in "Deep Dive into Bordeaux," you will uncover why location matters, discover where to find great bang for the buck wines in this notoriously expensive region, and learn what foods to pair when you drink Bordeaux. You will walk away understanding a famous but confusing region in a way that forever changes how you buy its wines, having discovered a world of wine like no other and fallen in love, and the next time someone mentions that "this wine tastes like a Burgundy" you'll know exactly what they are talking about.

You will be provided with a SommSchool Class Outline, so you can sit back, relax and enjoy each class without the need to take notes.

*This purchase is for unlimited access to the above named classes for the period of one year.

*Due to the instant access nature of this product, there is no refund once course is purchased.
